Traditional Chinese Medicine
Traditional Chinese Medicine is a pathway to create a life in alignment with your true nature. Its core goal is to initiate and support healthy change and growth in any and every dimension of life : physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
I practice two of its main branches: Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine.
Herbal Medicine
In China, herbal medicine is considered the main, and most efficient branch of TCM. It is still widely practiced in hospitals all over the country.
Tried & tested over thousands of years, it is based on an incredible knowledge of medicinal herbs & minerals, and refined over time by many masters & doctors.
Tailored herbal formulas are prescribed after in depth examination of the patient’s health state, symptoms & needs.

Key principles

-
Your body is an integrated whole. Each and every structure in your body is an integral and necessary part of the whole. Along with your mind, emotions, and spirit, your physical body structures form a miraculously complex, interrelated system that is powered by life force, or energy.
-
You are completely connected to nature. Changes in nature are always reflected in your body. TCM factors in the particular season, geographical location, time of day, as well as your age, genetics, and the condition of your body when looking at your health issues.
-
You were born with a natural self-healing ability. Your body is a microcosm that reflects the macrocosm.
-
Prevention is the best cure. Your body is continually giving you signs & symptoms that reveal the state of your health - TCM is teaching you how to listen, and become literate in your body's unique language.
-
Does Acupuncture hurt? No! Acupuncture needles are very thin and mainly painless. Of course, some points might be more sensitive than others, also depending on your physical state that day - but it should never hurt!
-
How many sessions do I need?It depends on each patient and the condition we are treating - chronic conditions tend to require more time & sessions that acute ones. Acupuncture isn’t a magic pill - we work on healing the deep rooted layers of the imbalances, and this might take time. That being said, we can see pretty big shifts in just a few sessions, but the roots take longer.
-
What can you treat / support?Acupuncture & herbalism can effectively support a wide range of conditions. Here are a few of the main commonly seen ones: menstrual disorders (amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, PMS…) menopause digestive disorders mental & emotional health (anxiety, stress, depression..) insomnia skin disorders burnout recovery My specialities are gyneacology, obstetrics and emotional / mental health.
